Job Summary

The Uniform Room Attendant is responsible for managing and maintaining uniform inventory, including receiving and distributing uniforms, coordinating dry cleaning services, and ensuring accurate stock levels. This role requires precise recordkeeping of all uniform transactions using the designated inventory management software, as well as providing excellent customer service to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional and courteous customer service to all staff

  • Receive, issue, and track uniforms accurately

  • Coordinate sending and receiving of uniforms for dry cleaning

  • Maintain uniform inventory levels through regular stock checks and audits

  • Record all transactions and updates in the designated software system

  • Perform slot checks and inventory counts as required

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly uniform room

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

  • Work collaboratively with team members

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts

Qualifications

  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to operate a heat seal machine

  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Professional, positive, and cooperative attitude when interacting with coworkers

Education and Experience

  • Less than a high school education; or

  • Up to one month of related experience or training; or

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift

  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to climb a step ladder as needed
