Warehouse Supervisor- 12Hr Day Shift

Essential Job Functions

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols;
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse; inspects equipment; issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement;
• Works closely with customer service to ensure ample supply of raw materials and timely deliveries;
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system;
• Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with principles, policies, and established procedures;
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements;
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees;
• Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees as well as planning, monitoring and appraising job results;
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Shift

Dayshift, 12-hour continental schedule from 8A-8P

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least five years of experience in a warehouse management role.
• Microsoft software skills.
• Experience with food grade products.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Prior experience in the transportation field. 
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral. 
• High attention to detail.
• A customer service attitude to ensure customer satisfaction
