About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our communities. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry work. You will work closely with other team members to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Your goal is to create a safe and well-maintained environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in HVAC or electrical systems.
  • Previous experience in a facilities maintenance role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems as required.
  • Respond to resident work orders.
  • Rehabilitate apartments into rent-ready condition.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to handle work orders and respond to emergency repair requests.
  • Respond to on-call emergencies according to scheduled on-call responsibility.
