About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Dermatologist for a 13-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Georgia. This opportunity, starting on May 13, 2025, requires a provider to work from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing biopsies, ED&C, new patient visits, cryotherapy, AK treatments, and pre-cancerous screenings. Additionally, the role involves full body skin exams, and treating conditions such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified Dermatologist to contribute their expertise in a clinical setting.

Location: Georgia 

Facility Type: Clinic 

Start Date: May 13, 2025 

LOA: 13 days 

Provider Type Needed: Dermatologist 

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM


Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Conduct full body skin examinations 
  • Perform biopsies, electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), and cryotherapy
  • Treat acne, psoriasis, eczema, and other dermatological conditions 
  • Screen for pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions 
  • Manage new patient visits and follow-ups 
  • Perform shave removals and other minor procedures 
  • Diagnose and treat various skin conditions 
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records 
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient care 
  • Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards


Additional Information: 

  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in Georgia 
  • Experience in clinical dermatology is required 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Comfortable seeing 8-11 patients during scheduled appointment times
