General Description and Classification StandardsÂ
The Atlanta City Council is seeking motivated and civic-minded summer interns to support the work of Council offices and legislative staff. Interns contribute to a wide range of administrative, research, and project-based assignments that advance the Council’s mission and improve service to Atlanta residents. This role is designed for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in municipal government, public policy, community engagement, and organizational operations
Supervision ReceivedÂ
Interns work under direct supervision and follow established procedures, guidelines, and written instructions to complete assigned tasks. Work is reviewed for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to departmental standards.
