Overview

APP- Inpatient Surg Non-OR Nights (Transplant, Part-Time)

Piedmont Healthcare is looking for a highly skilled physician assistant or nurse practitioner to help with inpatient overnight coverage for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant patients and patients with hepatobiliary disorders. As one of the top abdominal transplant programs in the country, the Piedmont Transplant Institute is a leader in the Southeast in patient outcomes, transplant volumes, and community outreach: performing over 300 kidney transplants and 200 liver transplants in the most recent fiscal year.

Responsibilities

Opportunity to be part of a large collaborative team of inpatient APP’s that work closely with transplant surgeons, nephrologists and hepatologists. We offer an in-depth onboarding process including training on days for 1 month then rotating to night training for an additional 2-3 months.

 

 12- hour shifts, total of 3 shifts every 2 weeks, include shared weekend and holiday coverage. Nights. No OR.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years or more of experience as a PA or NP, however new graduates will be considered

 

Minimum Education Required:

PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board

NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing
