Internship - Architecture

TVS is looking for a talented architecture student or recent graduate to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia as part of our internship program.  This person should be able to perform basic assignments as directed in this seasonal, hourly position.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural design techniques for small projects or sections of larger projects

• Performs design layouts and features, which requires researching, compiling and record of information for assigned project work

• Engage and contribute to project opportunities as part of a larger project team

• Develop technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs

• Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm

• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Pursuing a professional degree or have recently graduated with a professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited college or university; students who are currently pursuing or who are recent graduates of BS or BA in Architecture degree programs are also eligible.

• 0-5 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated mastery of the job duties listed above

• Ability to work in Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch-up, and Enscape or other rendering programs is preferred

• Ability to network within the industry

• Knowledge of materials, project design, and introductory knowledge of construction documentation

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative, professional manner

• Ability to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn and mentor

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
