 Be our next Lighting Designer (Entry Level)!

 

In this role, you will be a part of EXP’s Award Winning Lighting Design team working from our Atlanta, Georgia office.

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Provide Drafting(ACAD / REVIT), Photometric (AGI/Lightstanza) and Rendering (Photoshop/3DS)  support to Project Designers.
  • Proficient in the skills of Lighting Specialist.
  • Ability to accurately create fixture specifications and cut sheets.
  • Provide creative content for conceptual design documents both hand drawn and via computer.
  • Provide creative research including gathering conceptual images.
  • Ability to complete project tasks within timeframe requirements.
  • Provide creative writing support for conceptual presentations.
  • Provide initial hand-drawn conceptual level lighting details.
  • Provide initial budget costing analysis for initial fixture selection.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required by project.

What your experience looks like

  • BA, BFA, BAE, or MFA with an emphasis in Lighting Design.
  • Proficiency in  Drafting software (REVIT, Auto CAD)
  • Proficiency in Photometric and Daylighting software (AGI, Lightstanza, Dialux and/or related).
  • Proficiency in rendering software (Photoshop, 3Ds and/or related). 

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including health insurance, vacation time, and 401(k) retirement benefits
