Dayime Cleaning Position Available

We are seeking friendly and energetic janitorial staff to work in a fitness facility. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Janitorial experience required, must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check.

Janitor responsibilities and duties:
* Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed. Including areas such as bathrooms, offices, classrooms, gymnasiums, common areas, fitness facilities, and auditoriums daily.
* Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and/or parking lots
* Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
* Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
* Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
* Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

Janitor qualifications and skills
* Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
* Ability to work well under minimal supervision
* Capacity to take direction
* Strong attention to detail
* Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
* Physically capable of walking up to 3 miles
* Physically capable of bending, stooping and reaching up
