Grounds Maintenance Associate (Event Services)

Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in keeping public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming? We are seeking dependable Grounds Maintenance Associates to help maintain the exterior appearance of convention centers, arenas, and event venues before, during, and after major events.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pick up trash and debris throughout parking lots, sidewalks, plazas, and surrounding grounds
  
• Remove stickers, flyers, and unauthorized postings from light poles, signs, and other surfaces
  
• Sweep walkways and entrances
  
• Empty outdoor trash receptacles and replace liners
  
• Patrol assigned areas using golf carts or utility vehicles
  
• Ensure exterior areas remain clean, safe, and presentable during events
  
• Assist with event setup and cleanup as needed
  
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
  
• Perform general grounds maintenance duties to support daily operations
  
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required
  
• Must be able to operate a golf cart safely or utility vehicle
  
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift, and work outdoors for extended periods
  
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  
• Dependable with excellent attendance
  
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  
• Previous grounds, landscaping, janitorial, maintenance, or outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required
  

Schedule:

• Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
  
• Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days
  
• Overtime may be available during large events
