What You’ll Do:

Hertz is continuing its journey to evolve into a world-class retailer, transforming how we offer Cars and related products while creating a smoother and more personalized experience for our customers. 

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Revenue Management team, focusing on inventory allocation and pricing. This role will shape and deliver the technology roadmap that supports seamless car purchases. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers can rent a car at a optimal price for their travel needs while supporting Hertz’s revenue goals

 

Vision & Strategy

  • Define and maintain the business vision and roadmap for Hertz Revenue Management
  • Ensure the roadmap aligns with Hertz’s revenue strategy and customer experience goals.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (business, IT, UX, etc.) to gather and refine requirements.
  • Align product goals with broader enterprise objectives.

 

Execution & Delivery

  • Translate business needs into usable, scalable, and reliable solutions.
  • Lead agile development teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Identify and manage dependencies across other agile teams.

 

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates on roadmap progress to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for project scope, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.

  • Experience in product management, revenue systems or travel industry technology.
  • Comfortable working in agile environments.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields like MIS, Business, Economics, Finance, or Engineering required
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience required
  • Intellectually curious, highly motivated, and willing to challenge the status quo
  • Experience with complex business processes and system integrations
  • The ability to turn business needs into clear technical requirements
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify solutions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative spirit and confidence working independently
  • Strong relationship-building skills across Commercial, IT, and vendor teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and own end-to-end solutions in collaboration with IT and data teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Revenue Management, Sales, Analytics, eCommerce, or a similar area
  • Working knowledge of Car/Hotel or Airline retailing including pricing, offer management, and distribution systems
  • Experience managing multiple projects and making well-informed priority decisions
  • Exposure to commercial or operational functions such as Reservations, Fleet Management or IT
  • Familiarity with APIs, merchandising strategies, and rule-based engines
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and deliver innovative solutions on time
