Brief overview

The Senior Technical Program Manager is a key member of the ASO product team, responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the ASO product roadmap through effective coordination, reporting and strategic planning.

What you will do

  • Lead cross-functional teams in planning, executing, and delivering the ASO Product roadmap and related portfolio projects across all domains. 
  • Develop comprehensive program plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements. 
  • Manage day-to-day program activities, resources, and project execution to ensure solutions meet intended business outcomes and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Establish governance structures to keep stakeholders engaged and informed throughout the program lifecycle. 
  • Foster collaboration with key stakeholders, regularly providing updates, executive summaries, and presentations regarding program status, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies. 
  • Define success criteria and ensure all parties are accountable for achieving goals.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact program delivery, anticipate challenges and implementing effective solutions. 
  • Ensure interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs are understood and addressed.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences including project teams, sponsors, executive leadership, and key partners. 
  • Maintain clear status reporting on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Serve as an expert on program and project management tools (such as Monday.com, Jira, Confluence) providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards. 

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in project and program management preferably with a software development or technical background
  • 3+ years experience with Agile methodologies
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

  • Applies subject matter expertise, unique knowledge and skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways
  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Advanced experience with various project management and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Monday.com, MS Office suite)
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale transformation programs with multiple related projects
  • Ability to collaborate, direct, and motivate cross-functional teams, holding team members accountable for their contributions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with extensive experience presenting to executive levels and engaging with technical and non-technical partners at all organizational levels
  • Utilizes knowledge of leading practices and enables their use to execute complex initiatives   
  • Ability to communicate with, build trust and influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to lead and manage projects and facilitate team interactions effectively, including successfully handling conflict and competing priorities 
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions (SaaS)

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $89,600.00 to $179,200.00.  All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta.  All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
