The Project Manager will oversee and manage complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. The Project Manager will report work closely with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams, to ensure that the project meets all requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Job Description

  • Ensure proper planning and timely execution of project activities.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and track project expenses, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review invoices related project spending and ensure the financial integrity of the project.
  • Lead and supervise contractors and subcontractors as needed.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure that all contract terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Resolve disputes and issues that arise during the construction phase.
  • Ensure that construction work is performed in compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Oversee the testing and inspection of materials and workmanship.
  • Review and ensure proper documentation is maintained for regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, safety hazards, and quality issues.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership.
  • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
