This position is remote and based on the East Coast , but our company operates nationally with a particular emphasis on large regional malls.
Vice President, Portfolio Management, East
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including comprehensive supervision and leadership of personnel, and financial and maintenance functions at assigned properties. As the Vice President of Portfolio Management, East, you must be responsive to the various managers and corporate officers/managers and staff in their respective areas and to achieving the owners objectives for each respective property. This shall be in line with a pre-approved business plan and operating budget, which this position will assist with creating in conjunction with the property managers. In addition, you will represent the company through dealings and interactions with different internal and external parties, including tenant representatives, city, and community officials, as well as regular interaction and correspondence with clients, JV partners, owners representatives, and other entity groups.
To be successful, you should have:
- Bachelors degree; MBA or similar degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple assets
- 5 years in a real estate property management role
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
