Position Purpose 

We are seeking a professional and guest-focused Restaurant Server to deliver 

exceptional dining experiences in our hotel restaurant. This role ensures that guests 

receive attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in every interaction. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Greet tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence 

• Adhere to established service standards and protocols 

• Ring in orders timely and correctly 

• Offer suggestions for beverage and food, don’t “upsell” but be genuinely 

invested in their experience 

• Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure 

their satisfaction 

• If a guest has a qualm, bring it to the attention of a manager immediately and 

evaluate how to proceed from there 

• Assist bartenders in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and 

other service items 

• If you take the last of anything, inform a manager if it needs to be ordered, or 

replenish it if it is within the restaurant 

• Follow proper “manners” protocol when interacting with any guest 

• Strong, upbeat and positive personality 

• Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail 

• Passion for food, beverage and hospitality 

• Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment 

Requirements 

• Previous fine dining or hospitality service experience preferred. 

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. 

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
