Job Summary

Responsible for driving the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of critical Product Strategy business processes. Partners cross-functionally to identify opportunities, design scalable solutions, and implement improvements that enhance operational effectiveness, simplify execution, and deliver measurable business value.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Leads cross-functional efforts to evaluate, design, document, and improve Product Strategy business processes that support both strategic and operational objectives.
  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and increased effectiveness; and facilitates the development and implementation of scalable process solutions that improve execution, reduce complexity, and drive business value.
  • Assesses current-state workflows, identifies root causes of inefficiencies, and develops future-state process designs supported by data, stakeholder feedback, and business requirements.
  • Drives alignment across functional teams to ensure process changes are understood, adopted, and effectively integrated into day-to-day operations.
  • Develops process documentation, business requirements, operating procedures, governance models, and success metrics to ensure sustainable implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Partners with technology and business teams to identify system capabilities, enhancement opportunities, and digital solutions that enable improved business outcomes.
  • Evaluates emerging AI capabilities and automation tools to determine practical application within existing and future-state business processes.
  • Partners with business and technology stakeholders to responsibly pilot, implement, and scale AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, decision support, and process effectiveness.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness, adoption, operational impact, and opportunities for ongoing optimization.
  • Serves as liaison with internal clients, operations staff, senior management and others affiliated with the project team.

Nature and Scope

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
  • Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Six Sigma or LEAN certification
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand ETE operational processes and their impact on business performance.
  • Proven experience leading process improvement and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience leveraging data to identify opportunities and measure outcomes.
  • Experience documenting business processes, defining requirements, and driving organizational change.
  • Ability to build partnerships and achieve results through influence rather than direct authority.
