Support the selling function and will carry out a variety of tasks and functions. Maintain efficient and profitable support for the day-to-day operations of the Product Line. May train Product Line Representatives.Â
What you will be responsible for:Â
- Understand and be able to explain all aspects of the product line.Â
- Maximize sales and margin objectives.Â
- Expand existing traditional business.Â
- Identify and pursue purchase opportunities available in the marketplace.Â
- Support onsite personnel.Â
- Identify inventory acquisition opportunities.
- Identify market trends and coordinate with sales group to anticipate areas of opportunities.Â
- Ensure that inventory management and shareholder value is maximized.Â
- Provide Technical solutions and planning.Â
- Establish preferred pricing levels with suppliers.Â
- May train other Product Line Representatives.Â
- All other duties as assigned.Â
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
- 12-18 months of direct aviation Product Line Representative experience highly preferred.Â
- 2 years of aviation experience or demonstrated high level of product line knowledge.Â
- Ability to articulate and compose business opportunities.Â
- Ability to work in a fast paced and highly technical environment.Â
