Software Engineer II

Job Description: 

Software Engineer II positions offered by Cox Automotive Corporate Services, LLC (Atlanta, Georgia). Customize, develop, and support solutions on the Force.com platform. Provide production support for applications by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, testing fixes, and migrating solutions. Partner with the Solution architect, business analyst and product team members to support Sales, Service and Marketing functions. Collaborate with members of the project team and business owners to design, develop, unit test, and provide post-release support. Work in an Agile environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven design methods. Utilize cloud integration tools to perform integrations between SalesForce.com and other systems. Design advanced reports, dashboards, and portals in SalesForce.com as well as other business intelligence tools.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience developing software.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, the employer will also accept a master’s or foreign equivalent in the aforementioned fields.
  • Must have experience with:
    • Developing and designing software using Force.com, Visual Force, and the Apex Programming languages;
    • Working with relational databases and data modeling; using the Force.com data loader and handling migration assignments;
    • Utilizing Java, SOAP, REST services, MVC concepts, object-oriented concepts, and design patterns;
    • Utilizing Eclipse and copado development tools and GIT; and
    • Programming in Java, Ruby, C#, C++, or .Net object oriented language.
  • Must have a Salesforce.com (SFDC) Developer Certification.
  • Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.

Compensation includes a base salary of $138,648. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. 
 

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
