We’re seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join the Emergency Medicine team at a high-acuity Level III Trauma Center in Macon, GA. Schedule & Coverage:
Advanced Practice Provider Coverage:
• 8-Hour Shifts | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Additional shifts may become available based on performance and needPhysician Coverage for Reference:
• 10-Hour Shifts | 6a–4p, 8a–6p, 12p–10p, 4p–2a, 8p–6a
• APPs collaborate directly with EM physicians on-site
Facility Overview:
Trauma Designation: Level III
ED Volume: 42,000 Annual Visits
Emergency Department Beds: 25
EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup: Robust subspecialty coverage across all major lines
Candidate Requirements:
Licensure: Active and Unrestricted Georgia NP or PA License & DEA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Experience: Minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine or high-acuity Urgent Care
Confidence: Must be comfortable in a busy trauma environment and proficient in standard ED procedures and rapid decision-making
