Skillforce is hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Electricians for a contract to hire role in McDonough, GA. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician you are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and production equipment in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment producing corrugated materials.

Pay: $35/hour-$40/hour, based on experience.


Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 5 days per week 
  • Must be available to work day or night shifts depending upon business needs


Industrial Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems on industrial production equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in corrugated materials manufacturing. 
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical controls and PLC systems. 
  • Rebuild and replace failed equipment components. 
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures. 


Industrial Maintenance Electrician Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Corrugated material manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with: 
  • Allen-Bradley PLCs 
  • Electrical controls 
  • Three-phase motors 
  • Switches, sensors, and related industrial electrical systems 
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and either day or night shift.
