Your day to day as a On- Call Event Bartender

You’ll engage with guests, take drink orders, and maintain cleanliness at your station. Requirements for this On- Call Event Bartender job

To shine as an On-Call Event Bartender at Showboat Hotel & Island Waterpark, you’ll need a blend of skills and expertise! A solid understanding of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits is essential, along with the ability to mix drinks expertly and garnish them like a pro. Having TIPS or a similar responsible alcohol service certification is preferred, ensuring you can provide a safe and enjoyable experience.

Familiarity with POS systems, such as Toast or Micros, will help streamline your service and keep things moving smoothly. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, as you’ll be interacting with guests and ensuring their experience is nothing short of stellar. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities are crucial to keep pace in a bustling environment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits; mixing techniques and garnishing;
• TIPS or similar responsible alcohol service certification (preferred)
