Overview

Retail Sales Associate 

Assists customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions.


Responsibilities

  • Drives sales through engagement of customers,
  • Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Working with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized.
  • Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift.
  • Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items.
  • Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items.
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • at least one (1) year retail experience including cashiering
  • Must have or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration (CER) license upon hire
  • Good verbal and written communications skills required
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills preferred
  • Ability to stand extended periods of times.


Pay Range

USD $15.92 - USD $15.92 /Hr.
Tipped Position

This position does not earn tips
