The Sandbox at Seastreak Beach

The Sandbox is a high-energy, high-volume beach bar located at the Seastreak ferry terminal in Highlands, NJ. The Sandbox was built on genuine hospitality, great drinks, local music, and friends coming together for a good time. As we grow and expand, we are looking for employees to help keep that magic alive. Entering our sixth season, our one of a kind venue is known for its tropical atmosphere, daily live music, and having a team that knows you by name. We believe that with a great team and great service, every day can be a vacation here.

What We’re About

The Sandbox staff is a group unlike any other. We’re looking to add new barbacks to our team who love people, move with purpose, and who are always willing to go above and beyond for our customers. If you thrive in fast paced environments, like to play on a team, and take pride in your work, you’ll fit right in with us.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet our guests with a friendly welcome
• Support our bartenders in a fast paced enviroment
• Maintain clean, organized work spaces and shared service areas
• Maintain an upbeat demeanor during high volume

Experience, Skills, and Requirements

• Product knowledge of all spirits, wines, and beers available
• Genuine passion for hospitality
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability 
• Must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol per state law
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work for extended time periods in outdoor conditions
