Administrative Assistant - Per Diem

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• One to three years previous experience as a Admirative Assistant in a physicians practice or Clinic environment
• Command of verbal and written English; positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Understanding of referral process.
• Knowledge of physician appointments and schedule management.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Computer skills

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification: N/A

Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.

Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able and available to float to other practice locations as needed with reimbursement for mileage.
