Grow with Amego. Amego, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Day Program Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our Adult Services team in Attleboro Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about supporting adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities and who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Amego’s Adult Day Services provide individualized support designed to promote independence, personal growth, health, wellness, community participation, and quality of life. Our programs incorporate evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavior Supports, community integration, functional living skills, and individualized goal setting. Essential Responsibilities Provide nursing care and clinical support to individuals participating in the day program. Assess, monitor, and respond appropriately to individuals' health and medical needs. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate and timely medical, medication, and health-related documentation. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized healthcare plans and nursing interventions. Communicate changes in health status to appropriate members of the individual's care team, families/guardians, and healthcare providers. Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, and communication with outside healthcare professionals as needed. Respond appropriately to illnesses, injuries, medical emergencies, and other health-related concerns. Provide health education and wellness support to program participants and staff. Train and provide guidance to direct-care staff regarding medical procedures, medication administration, health and safety protocols, and individual healthcare needs. Collaborate with program and clinical staff to support behavioral, developmental, and individualized goals. Promote dignity, choice, independence, and active participation for every individual served. Maintain compliance with applicable nursing standards, agency policies, licensing requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Participate as an active member of an interdisciplinary team. Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification. Previous nursing experience preferred; experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities is highly valued. Experience in developmental services, community-based care, behavioral health, school nursing, or a similar setting is a plus. Strong assessment, communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
