Qualifications for per diem RN

Qualifications for per diem Registered Nurse:

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing with an active RN license in Good Standing in Rhode Island and Massachusetts 

•  Medical terminology and pharmacological terminology appropriate to the Registered Nurse’s scope of practice required 

•  One (1) year of experience in an outpatient setting as a Registered Nurse preferred 

•  Wound care experience

•   Ability to work independently

•   Flexible scheduling (days, nights, weekends)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 pounds.

• Ability to travel to patients' homes in RI and parts of Southern Massachusetts.

• Visual and Auditory acuity sufficient to perm duties of the Assessment Nurse.

Technology

•  Ability to use a computer 

•  Knowledge of electronic healthcare record and documentation
