As an O&G Instrument Technician, you'll play a crucial role in the success of our survey work assignments, supporting our O&G Party Chief and contributing to project survey policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Utilize a range of survey equipment, including GPS receivers, Robotic and Conventional Instrumentation, with precision and expertise.
- - Conduct field surveys on behalf of our clients, ensuring data accuracy and thoroughness.
- - Acquire an understanding of basic field calculations and procedures.
- - Perform assigned survey instrumentation operations, taking responsibility for collected survey data.
- - Download survey data efficiently and accurately.
- - Demonstrate proficiency in data collection using Trimble equipment and associated software products.
- - Maintain and operate survey instrumentation throughout the data collection process, ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in surveying.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and pass a drug screen.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical fitness and stamina for extended periods of outdoor work.
This position will be based out of West Texas, primarily in the Midland/Odessa market.Â
