The EHS & Facilities Specialist is responsible for supporting the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of Bascom Hunter facilities, with primary responsibility for the Baton Rouge location.

This position combines three core areas of responsibility: facility operations and maintenance coordination, workplace safety, and routine environmental compliance activities. The Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day facility maintenance needs at the Baton Rouge location, including scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance, obtaining vendor quotes, coordinating third-party contractors, and ensuring facility issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Environmental responsibilities are limited in scope and primarily involve coordinating the compliant storage, handling, pickup, and disposal of items such as used oil, coolant, and similar facility or manufacturing waste streams through approved third-party vendors.

The EHS & Facilities Specialist works closely with employees, supervisors, managers, Facilities, HR, Operations, and external vendors to maintain safe, functional, and compliant workplaces.
