TITLE: Battery OTA Manager

 

DUTIES: Lead the integration of Battery OTA functions on all EV platforms. Build team and expertise with cross functional expertise in cell chemistry, data analytics, BMS software and diagnostics. Lead ADA Policy for Global HV Batteries. Work cross functionally to establish and deploy global OTA requirements. Lead regular discussions with Cell Expertise (internal and external) to establish best practices and critical data for cell/battery health data monitoring. Test prototype policy in vehicle, work with cross functional team to confirm capability and compatibility in development vehicles and fleet. Lead data analysis and calibration/SW optimization to refine cell prognostics and identify early failures in the field and development fleet. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.

 

 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Design Engineering or related and 8 years of experience in product development or process development for Li-ion Batteries. Alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Design Engineering or related and 5 years of experience in product development or process development for Li-ion Batteries. Experience must include: Development and/or validation of energy storage systems and vehicle electrification; Development of algorithms within battery management system, including onboard and offboard design of requirements; Perform diagnostic and Functional Requirement and Validation; Applying Data Analytics and Machine Learning; Utilizing Databricks, INCA, CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, and CANoe.

 

OTHER: Job Site: 800 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 40 hours/week. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S.
