As a Chrysler Brand Product Manager, you play a key role in shaping and delivering the vehicle by translating insights into well-defined product solutions. You will contribute to product direction through analysis, creativity, and informed recommendations, while owning the detailed execution of the product definition. 

 

This is a highly strategic, fast paced, and visible position that is expected to lead and influence cross functional teams comprised of Engineering, Research, Design, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Procurement to define and develop customer-centric product and its technology strategies to win in the marketplace.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Product Definition & Content Ownership 

  • Own the detailed product “grid” (trims, features, options, packages, configurations)
  • Ensure all product elements are accurately defined, aligned, and maintained throughout the program lifecycle
  • Manage change control and ensure updates are reflected consistently across systems and teams
  • Evaluate and recommend adjustments to features, pricing inputs, and configurations to improve value and competitiveness
  • Ensure product decisions are implemented accurately and consistently across the program

 

Data, Analysis & Business Case Support 

  • Prepare detailed inputs, data, and documentation for program reviews and governance forums ensuring all materials are accurate, complete, and aligned to program status
  • Support tracking of KPIs, milestones, and launch readiness activities
  • Develop and maintain volume, mix, and take-rate assumptions to support financial targets
  • Analyze customer data, competitive benchmarks, and internal inputs to inform content recommendations
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in product assumptions and escalate appropriately

 

Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure product definition is feasible, cost-aligned, and executable
  • Track progress against milestones and ensure timely delivery of product inputs required for program execution
  • Support issue resolution by gathering data, clarifying impacts, and coordinating updates
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Planning, Engineering, Finance, or related areas 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA or advanced degree 
  • Automotive experience or strong product knowledge 
  • Experience working with product data, configurations, or financial assumptions 
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear, structured recommendations
