The proposed position is suitable for those who want to get involved in a new technology and for those who aspire to enter the world of electrified vehicles. This role embraces Leadership for Mechanical Integration of the electric drive components and subsystem to the Electric Drive Module, working in synergies with other Product Release Center functions to identify the e-motor & Electric Drive Module architectures vs performance & cost target.

 

The candidate has to ensure the proper application of the STLA globally harmonized integration methodology transversally and synergically within the different product programs, coordinating the activity of regional Product Release Centers.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive system design / integration
  • Mechanical drawings and ASME dimensioning knowledge
  • knowledge on Teamcenter & NX or PLM CATIA system, drawing stack up management
  • Knowledge and usage of design procedures/norms: Key characteristics classification, APQP/CTF, best practices, requirements to Suppliers and STLA procedures/norms repository
  • Knowledge in product engineering design and development, with emphasis on systems and product development
  • Coordinate activities with cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in with emphasis in electrical power conversion, electromechanical energy conversion, power electronics, and electrical machines
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive system design / integration of electric drive systems
  • Great knowledge of electrification technology, functionality and features on the system level
  • Team management, synthesis ability, risk assessment technique, scheduling optimization
  • Knowledge on Stellantis assembly plant operations and overall development process
  • High voltage training and experience is desirable
