JOB SUMMARY:
Â
The Material Input will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. Also is responsible for material delivery (Handover), inventory control (FIFO), 5S. The Material Input will also assist to Material Manager in locating materials in organized manner. Reporting directly to the Materials Manager you will interface with other functions such as quality, manufacturing, engineering, production. This position places high premiums on effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, and intelligent judgement.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Â
- Scans Boxes/Pallets at Drop zone when Hi-lo driver brings them and ensure components are properly labeled (Matching physical Quantity vs Label Quantity) and deliver them in the correct Block/Work station number and/or warehouse locations.Â
- Ensures a MES scanning process is followed
- Cycle Count Items and sub-assemblies in Inventory and record the data, comparing physical inventory vs MES/SAP Inventory Records. Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them
- Maintain and Control Inventory, locate and put away all stock in organized manner
- Monitoring Production Interlocks ( Prevent and React on Timely manner )
- Safe Delivery of material to a fast-paced lithium ion battery assembly line.
- Transfer material physically and systematically between warehouse locations
- Cycle Count ESS, Reman, JL-WL Modules/Castings in Inventory and record the data using a computer, comparing physical inventory vs MES/SAP Inventory Records. Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them
- Analyze MES Modules/Castings Status for decision making (Re-intro, Rework, Scrap)
- Maintain and Control ESS, Reman, JL-WL Modules/Castings Inventory, locate and put away all stock in organized manner
- Management and minimization of Inventory ( Accurate Inventory Management )
- Responsible for Modules/Castings Production – Inventory - Scrap Reports
- Modules/Castings Scanning, Modules/Castings Repackaging
- Schedules meetings with departments regarding BH05 and BH11 issues (Safety, Production, Quality, Finance, I.T., HQ etc...)
- Issuing Abnormal occurrences and report discrepancies
- Assists Materials Manager with assigned projects/schedule meetings/attends meetings
- Support Physical Inventory Activities
- Support to Material Supervisor / Drop Zone Activities
- Submit approvals to G-EHS for environmental records
- Perform 5S activities.
- Other Tasks as assigned

- Report OH&S problems
- Report workplace hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible after they occur
- Report injury or illness arising from workplace activities using the incident/injury reporting system as soon as possible after the incident
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Complete monthly H&S inspections
