The program manager is responsible for:Â
- Managing and supporting Tier 1 project management services who work as liaisons between the suppliers and Stellantis on packaging design, development and delivery of standard containers to the supply base
- Maintaining packaging launch KPIs
- Validating 198/092 requests for reimbursement of expendable packaging
- Interacting and engaging with cross-functional teams (Product, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Supply Base, Safety, Quality, etc.) to ensure packaging meets the requirements of each functional groupÂ
- Ensuring that the highest densities possible are reached while maintaining part quality in transitÂ
- Creating new and improved standards and best practicesÂ
- Participating in global teams dedicated to the design and density processÂ
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to packaging improvement
KPIs:
- Baseline packaging plans established on time
- Supplier packaging plans approved by plant launch team on time
- Pilot containers delivered on time
- Production containers delivered on time
- Packaging is validated on time for the key milestones
- Annual packaging improvement savings
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chainÂ
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues as well as manage through all aspects of the daily business, including escalation and communication as requiredÂ
- Ability to implement, sustain, and improve new or existing specialized packaging build processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business or engineering or related field
