The Job You Will Perform:Â
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the Customer Service, Planning, and Shipping Departments and report directly to the Sales Manager. This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Responsible for providing overall direction and leadership to the customer support team. Improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction by implementing service and operations strategies. In addition to business improvement, provide team members with challenging work and developmental objectives, and will share both responsibility and accountability in the attainment of organizational goals.
Act as a front-line decision maker, managing major and significant customer accounts; some having enterprise agreements.Â
Provide significant process and/or product expertise and be a subject matter expert resource for other team members.Â
Receipt and processing of requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations.Â
Provides supply chain and replenishment leadership for facility customers
Tracking forecast accuracy, defining inventory and safety stock standards
Efficiently scheduling facility production demands
Managing order requirements through an outside sales organization and offsite customer service organization
Support Lead Team objectives such as Safety, Engagement and EBITÂ
Trailer optimization and minimization

In addition to daily operational responsibilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining systems, driving manufacturing improvements as well as leading, coaching, motivating and engaging the work teams to accomplish operational objectives. Â

The Skills You Will Bring:Â
A relevant degree in Business Administration or Operations Management is preferred with at least five years’ experience in manufacturing in the corrugated industry.
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience.
Strong organizational skills and ability to react to operational support requirements must be able to organize time effectively and prioritize tasks to cope with fluctuating workloads.
Ability to lead, coordinate multifunctional teams, and collaborate with other departments, customers, and business partners.
Demonstrated leadership ability to drive results and influence others to meet department objectives.
Must demonstrate a proven track record of date accurate data entry; proficient skills in Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to learn industry and customer specific computer systems. KIWI knowledge plus.
