ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operation and set-up of machining centers
- Ability to read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
- Operate forklift to unload steel and dump chip hoppers
- Basic knowledge of 6S safety and ISO organizational standards
- Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, also basic knowledge of percentages and decimals as related to manufacturing
- Able to meet specific deadlines
- Interface with all departments and levels of management
EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in machine operation, preferred
- Experience driving forklift, preferred
- Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
