Application Manager

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week from the office in Tricity, Warsaw, or 艁贸d藕)

Rate: up to 85 PLN / hour net + VAT

Contract Type: B2B (Cooperation agreement signed directly with Optiveum)

About the role:

We are currently recruiting an Application Manager (SME) for our Client, a leading international organization. In this role, you will take ownership of the lifecycle, stability, and continuous improvement of a business-critical data and reporting solution that supports the DORA Register of Information.

You will ensure the reliable performance of procurement-related systems while driving the optimization of data flows, increasing automation, and implementing scalable improvements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing the full application lifecycle and ensuring system stability.

  • Handling incident, problem, and change management support.

  • Coordinating cross-functional activities with various stakeholders and vendors.

  • Optimizing systems, data flows, and processes while increasing automation.

  • Guaranteeing application compliance and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Ensuring reporting reliability and contributing to scalable, future-state solution designs.

  • Leading and contributing to multiple application-related projects simultaneously.

Must-have requirements:

  • Proven experience in application lifecycle and application management.

  • Background in systems administration, preferably as a Business Systems Analyst or IT Analyst within procurement.

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Power BI, data quality, and reporting.

  • Strong skills in incident, problem, and change management.

  • Technical troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • High awareness of risk, security, and compliance.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and collaboration skills.

  • Project management experience or equivalent background in driving cross-functional activities.

  • Advanced, professional English communication skills across all organizational and seniority levels.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of DORA or third-party risk management.

  • Experience in automating recurring reporting processes.

  • Understanding of procurement or supplier data.

  • Experience with requirements, process mapping, and prioritization.

  • A continuous improvement mindset with scalable solution design experience.
