Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED with three years of relevant experience required; Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma histories, and other barriers to independent living while supporting recovery, self-determination, and community integration. Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, electronic health records, and documentation systems required. Knowledge of OMH regulations, Medicaid documentation requirements, rehabilitative residential services, incident management, and residential program operations preferred. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, provide effective staff supervision and coaching, exercise sound judgment, and build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to be reached by phone and have a vehicle available to conduct organization business. Valid NYS Driver's License required in accordance with Unity House policies; ability to travel throughout the surrounding area.
