Position Summary: The Associate New Home Consultant (ANHC) supports the sales team while developing the skills and experience needed to become a New Home Consultant. The role partners closely with an experienced NHC, assisting with lead management, customer engagement, sales administration, and community coverage while learning all aspects of the new home sales process.
This role is designed to prepare individuals for promotion into a New Home Consultant position. Through structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, the Associate New Home Consultant will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to independently manage a sales community.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Provide sales office coverage during NHC off days, weekends, and PTO
- Greet and engage prospective buyers, introducing them to the community and available homes
- Learn and effectively communicate home features, floor plans, pricing, and options
- Assist customers with questions and initial sales information
- Completes administrative tasks, including data entry, appointment scheduling, and CRM updates
- Help maintain community signage, marketing materials, and model home appearance
- Follow up with online leads and walk-ins as directed by the NHC
- Prospecting and follow-up activities
- Generating appointments from online leads
- Building relationships with real estate agents
- Document and log all customer interactions in HubSpot
- Prepare and write sales contracts, under the supervision of the Sales Manager or as delegated by the New Home Consultant
- Represent Harris Doyle professionally in all customer and agent interactions
- Support events, open houses, and community outreach as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must obtain and maintain an active Alabama real estate license within six months of employment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsÂ
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and growÂ
- Comfortable engaging with customers and answering questionsÂ
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft OfficeÂ
- CRM experience a plus (HubSpot and RILLA preferred)Â
- Weekend availability requiredÂ
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or administrative support preferredÂ
- Exhibits organized and structured approach to work.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel to other divisional locations.
