Purpose: 

As a Business Intelligence Data Architect, you will support the design, development, and optimization of the company’s cloud data warehouse environments, including Redshift and Snowflake. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable data models, developing automated data pipelines, and integrating new data sources through APIs to ensure reliable and accessible enterprise data. You will help establish best practices in data architecture, performance optimization, and data quality while partnering with analytics and business teams to support reporting and decision-making needs. Through strong technical execution and attention to detail, you will contribute to building a trusted and scalable data foundation that enables accurate insights and supports business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s cloud data warehouse environments, including Redshift and Snowflake.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs across the organization.
  • Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from internal and external sources into centralized warehouse environments.
  • Design and implement API integrations to incorporate new data sources, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and automation of data flows.
  • Partner with analytics and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data structures and scalable architecture solutions.
  • Document data models, workflows, and architectural standards to promote transparency, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture best practices, governance standards, and warehouse optimization strategies.
  • Monitor data quality, integrity, and performance across warehouse environments; proactively identify and resolve data inconsistencies or system issues.
  • Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction; take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent.
  • Manage recurring deliverables in accordance with agreed upon specifications and set deadlines.
  • Balance and prioritize tasks and projects based on deadlines or the importance and urgency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft analytical tools including spreadsheet, database, and visualization applications
  • Proficiency in RedShift and Snowflake, including experience building and maintaining tables, views, and data models within cloud warehouse environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for data transformation, automation, or pipeline development; familiarity with modern data tools and big data concepts.
  • Foundational understanding of data architecture principles, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration best practices.
  • Experience working with structured and semi-structured data, including API-based data ingestion and transformation.
  • Proven track record and success in the areas of analytics, statistics, data architecture, data insights, and business planning
  • Experience with financial analysis and revenue and margin model creation
  • Detail and results-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
  • Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Analytics

Experience: 

  • 2+ years in finance, data analysis, data science, or statistics related field
