Position Summary:

As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout office and terminal facilities. This role supports daily operations by ensuring workspaces, common areas, and driver facilities are consistently maintained to company standards.

Responsibilities:

Office and Terminal Cleaning:
Maintain cleanliness throughout office areas, terminal spaces, driver rooms, restrooms, and other common areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces as needed.

Restroom and Breakroom Sanitation:
Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures, and floors. Maintain breakroom areas by cleaning tables, counters, appliances, and ensuring areas are sanitary and presentable.

Operational Environment Awareness:
Perform cleaning duties in an active terminal environment while remaining aware of safety considerations related to vehicle traffic, equipment, and employees.

Trash, Recycling, and Waste Removal:
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and dispose of waste according to company procedures to maintain a clean and orderly workplace.

Facility Appearance and Upkeep:
Identify areas needing additional attention and address cleanliness issues proactively to maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Supply Management:
 Monitor cleaning supplies, paper products, and restroom stock levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.

Safety and Compliance:
Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines.

Professionalism and Reliability:
Work independently with minimal supervision, maintain dependable attendance, and perform all duties with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning materials for extended periods of time.

Attention to Detail:
Ability to follow cleaning checklists and maintain consistent standards.

Dependability:
Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled part‑time hours consistently.
