Get Your Life Back.  Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics, Trailer Technicians, and Reefer Technicians to support our growing fleet service operation at our location in Auburn, IN! This role offers top pay, more days off to enjoy doing what you love with a 3-day workweek, and long-term career stability in a professional shop environment. Why Technicians Choose TRS  $26.75–$40/hour, based on experience +$2/hour shift premium for overnight shifts 3-day workweek – more time off every week PTO starts accruing Day 1 Medical, Dental, Vision (multiple plan options) Employer HSA contributions (bi-weekly) Company-paid Life & Long-Term Disability 401(k) with company match after 1 year ASE certification incentives Clean, well-equipped shop & supportive leadership What You’ll Do  Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, reefers, and APUs Complete brake repairs, suspension work, and DOT/FHWA inspections Diagnose electrical systems and ABS brakes Handle tire services (mounting, balancing, flat repairs) Complete structural trailer repairs, rear doors, and washouts Troubleshoot APUs and assist with road service calls Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop What We’re Looking For  High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year experience in diesel, trailer, or transport refrigeration repair DOT inspections & air brake experience required Valid driver’s license Obtain a toolbox and the required tools Strong work ethic and team-first attitude About Transport Refrigeration Services  Transport Refrigeration Services is a trusted leader in fleet maintenance and transport refrigeration, supporting commercial trucks and trailers nationwide.
