Electronics Engineer II

HL Mando America Corporation has an opening for the position of Electronics Engineer II (Ref# EEII421MZ).

Work Location: 5230 S. Carter Rd., Auburn, MI 48611.

Job Duties: Test and debug circuits with the aid of customer requirements, schematic, bill of materials, PCB layout artwork, etc. Decompose and combine customer and internal requirements to specific hardware design requirements. Analyze engineering system requirements (customer and internal) and decompose to hardware module and component level requirements and specifications. Design (or verify if reusing existing design) electronic circuits that meet customer requirements. Develop tests (or update if reusing existing tests) to validate design to customer requirements. Work with suppliers to select appropriate components and ensure supply throughout the life of the designed part. Support calibration and EOL (End-of-Line) FFT (Final Function Test) stands and equipment. Research innovative and effective solutions (circuit designs, component selections, etc.) to customer requirements. Manage database of approved parts used across multiple projects. Perform worst case circuit analysis to validate safety-robustness of electrical hardware design. Repair/modify hardware as needed during design/prototype and debug activities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Electrical Engineer, Hardware Engineer, or related experience. Will accept a Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with circuit design, circuit analysis, and PCB layout. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
