Position Description

 

Position Title:         Field Property Technician – Construction & Maintenance

 

Reporting To:          Mark Turkewitz / Robbie Robbins

 

Location:                  Various VIP locations across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts

Primary Purpose

Perform renovations and repairs for existing VIP properties and finish construction/carpentry work for new VIP properties.

Responsibilities

 

  • General maintenance and repair duties for all VIP properties.
  • Performs basic carpentry, painting, masonry, light electrical, flooring, tire racking set up, and other tasks as needed.
  • Works in a safe manner, follows all safety policies while performing job duties, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment PPE.
  • Keeps work area clean and organized.
  • Preparation and assembly of various building components and materials used in the renovation, repair, or new construction of a VIP property.
  • Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.
  • Communicates with team members to assist in the completion of tasks.
  • Travel as needed for projects, including overnights.
  • New location set up and repair.

  • Ability to safely perform light carpentry and construction tasks.
  • Ability to learn new skills as required to complete renovation jobs.
  • Ability to stay busy, be highly productive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions.
  • Knowledge of tools needed to perform jobs, and ability to use them safely and effectively.
  • Finish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with team members, store staff, supervisors, and management.
  • Take direction from Job Supervisor.
  • Behave professionally and be reliable.
  • Good workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Become an excellent team player.

Qualifications & Requirements

 

  • Experience preferred.

 

  • Extended hours and overnights based on business needs.

 

  • Travel from the Auburn Support Center, or your home base, will be provided or reimbursed.

 

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass both a criminal background and a substance abuse screening.
