A technician will assist nursing and medical staff with direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The technician will maintain a safe environment, observe patient behavior, and document relevant information.
The position involves 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 72 hours bi-weekly, including every other weekend.
Salary is based on experience, and the position offers excellent benefits.

A technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, shall be responsible for assisting the professional nursing, medical and ancillary staff with activities of direct patient care. Upholds Northeastern Center's standards in maintaining quality consumer care. With the direction of nursing staff, works within the framework of a multidisciplinary team approach. Maintains a safe, clean environment, observes patient behavior, initiates therapeutic interaction and documents pertinent information. Provides supportive services to promote optimal patient care.

Education: High School education or equivalent

Experience: Experience in the mental health field preferred.

Licenses: Must possess a valid state issued Driver’s License.

Shift: 7p- 7a: 12 hour shifts, 3 days during the week and every other weekend - total 72 hours bi-weekly.

Salary : Fixed rate of pay at $17.09 hourly.
