This position will be responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance work at the facility and on facility equipment. This is a full-time year-round position with a great opportunity to grow if you are interested in the industry. This is a Monday-Friday 7 AM-4 PM shift with opportunities for voluntary overtime. Choice of Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability HSA match of up to $50 biweekly 6 Weeks of Parental Leave 6-8 Weeks of Maternity Leave after using Parental Leave 401-K with a 50% match up to 6% Maine Oxy is an Equal Opportunity Employer   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Adhering to all Maine Oxy safety standards Maintaining a preventive and corrective maintenance program documentation Managing maintenance work areas for safety, health, and environmental compliance Managing orders and receipt of maintenance related tools and equipment Assist with snow removable and groundskeeping QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1 year experience working in an industrial setting preferred Aptitude to operate and maintain pneumatic and mechanical equipment Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, and pallet jacks Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. Safety must be first priority. Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures and other company and industry documents. Must have mechanical aptitude Piping/Welding Knowledge Electrician knowledge is a plus Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
