JOB SUMMARY: Maintain all primary, secondary, and injection and/or blow molding support equipment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

70% Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PM) on all main and auxiliary equipment in injection and/or blow molding departments in accordance with established procedures and goals under the PM Program including, but not limited to: • Inventorying, maintaining, and repairing all grinders, conveyers, dryers, hopper loaders and vacuum units (including ratio units), all oil and water units, and chillers and towers; • Updating and coordinating all PM logbooks in accordance with ISO standards.

10% Establishing a “predictive” maintenance program designed to ensure more efficient and effective operation of equipment.

10% Work effectively and in coordination with Injection and/or Blow molding departments to handle immediate repair needs and set-ups, as needed.

5% Work effectively and in coordination with Injection and/or Blow molding tool room support as needed.

5% Participate in coordination of all major shutdown maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has limited supervisory responsibilities during shut-down and start-up periods as well as major project implementation.  The position assigns, directs and monitors crews during these time periods.

Minimum Qualification Standards: • High School Diploma or GED, two years experience in manufacturing environment, and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, problem solving and computers required. • Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered. • Employees in this position must possess their own tools.
