To continue operating at our high standards, we're seeking Manufacturing Associates (Production) to join us as at Gleason Avery, our gearmotor manufacturer based in Auburn, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Hand assembly of various sub-assemblies and gear motors.
  • Visually inspect all work and rework as necessary
  • Follow all safety, quality and other company rules
  • Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area
  • Rotate to various jobs as needed
  • Perform other tasks as required.
  • Test finished sub-assemblies and final parts for quality as instructed
  • Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment and work surroundings
  • Willing to comply with COVID mask mandates when needed
  • Follow quality guidelines as provided

Skills Needed:

  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
  • Follow company procedures and directives
  • Is reliable and works well with others.
  • Must have excellent attendance
