We are looking for a Production Control Planner. The ideal candidate will have one or more years experience in Production Control, or a related field, preferably in an automotive manufacturing setting.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors, analyzes, and reports performance metrics of production activities utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
- Responsible for generating and maintaining production schedules, for all lines, ensuring that customer demands and forecasts are met.
- Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and developing delivery plans with suppliers to ensure that production schedules are not impacted due to material shortages.
- Responsible for clearly communicating production and delivery schedules to all team members.
- Coordinate with project managers and production to sequence special builds.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining customer portals.
- Responsible for ensuring that ProAlpha is maintained with updated planning data.
- Research and assign manufacturing times and due dates on parts as needed and document during the releasing process.
- Monitor quality, service, and delivery issues and work with team to adjust as needed.
- Work with team members as needed to identify and resolve supplier and internal errors that result in forecasting, budget or schedule discrepancies.
- Responsible for performing capacity analysis, ensuring that customer requirements can be met.
- Experience with designing and implementing packaging concepts (supplier and customer).
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Three or more years related experience with automotive experience being a significant plus.
- Must have prior experience authorizing and controlling manufacturing plans and processes within an automotive supplier environment.
- Highly proficient with operating systems software such as SAP, or similar.
- Able to build detailed project schedules.
- Think forward, anticipate issues, and plan for contingencies.
- Strong focus on attention to detail.
- Build awareness of responsibility to the bigger team beyond immediate work tasks and colleagues.
- Ability to work overtime as need and required.
- Ability to perform effectively and efficiently under production and time pressures.
- Ability to follow directives and policies of the Company.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically Excel.
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Strong decision making skills.
- Ability travel internationally.
