Overview

The College of Education’s Education to Accomplish Growth in Life Experiences for Success (EAGLES) program is excited to announce an opening for an EAGLES Operations Coordinator!  The EAGLES Operations Coordinator will support the daily operations of Auburn University’s comprehensive transition program for students with intellectual disabilities.

 

This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence by supporting staff and students and strengthening the visibility and impact of the EAGLES program among all stakeholders. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, program and event coordination, administrative and operational support, communications and marketing, and stakeholder engagement. This job will require infrequent and minimal event activities in the evenings and weekends throughout the year.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events and programs promoting the mission and visibility of the EAGLES Program and the College of Education.
  • Maintain program databases and records, ensuring accurate program record keeping.
  • Provide daily administrative and operational support to include but not limited to financial and human resources operational support.
  • Develop and manage marketing materials such as promotional items, newsletters, brochures, and provide website content support.
  • Support leadership with high-level administrative tasks and stakeholder engagement.

The Operations Coordinator role is designed to have a direct and lasting impact on students’ lives while contributing to the growth of the EAGLES Program. The EAGLES Operations Coordinator will join a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to expanding opportunities and fostering success for all students.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree- no specific discipline
  • 2 years of professional experience in administration, hospitality, and/or event coordination.

     

    Targeted salary range for the position will be approximately $55,000 - $60,000

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with special needs communities or education.
  • Education discipline in Communications, Marketing, Business, or field related to college/school and/or designated programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with AU-used programs such as Microsoft Office suite, Banner, EPAFs, P-cards, Canva, etc.
