Technology plays a huge role in how we simplify complexity, improve decision-making, and deliver great outcomes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help shape the platforms and solutions that power our business.
The opportunity:
This newly created position will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering high-quality full stack solutions for Project Luma, one of Ando's key strategic initiatives. The project is focused on developing and rolling out intuitive, user-friendly portals that enhance how we connect and work with our broker partners.
This is a true full stack role spanning both front-end and back-end development. However, to complement the strengths of our existing team, we'd be particularly interested in candidates who bring deeperfront-end experience and expertise.
What you'll be doing:
Working across modern front-end and back-end technologies including Java, React and Spring Boot
Contributing to architecture and technical design decisions
Reviewing code and supporting engineering best practices
Mentoring and coaching other engineers
Driving the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes
What you’ll need to succeed:
You'll have significant experience as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer, with strong Java development expertise and a proven ability to deliver complex software solutions.
Experience with React and Spring Boot would be a bonus, but we're open to engineers who bring transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
You'll thrive in modern engineering environments that embrace collaboration, agile delivery, and continuous improvement. Experience in insurance or financial services would be advantageous but isn't essential.
